01. 최초 설치시 우선적으로 해야 할 사항
  - nvidia driver install
  - compiz 사용 : 시스템 > 기본설정 > 모양새 > 화면효과 > Extra 선택
  - compiz 세팅 : 시스템 -> 기본설정 -> Advanced Desktop Effects Settings
  - 굴림 글꼴 설치 : http://blog.easysw.net/attachment/1070541117.rpm
  - 패키지 repository를 daum으로 변경
  - 파이어폭스 부가기능 설치 및 세팅
  - 콘솔 및 각종 단축키 수정
  - 동영상 및 사운드 관련 세팅
  - 파일서버 Autofs 공유
  - OpenVPN 세팅
  - nc-firewall 세팅


 
02. 추가적으로 설치할 응용 프로그램
  - 멀티미디어
    Totem : 자막 세팅 필요
    Mplayer, Smplayer
    Audaclous : charset 세팅필요(euckr, utf8)
    Gnomebaker
  - 가상머신
    virtual box
    vmware

만약 vmware 실행시 다음과 같은 에러가 난다면 아래의 ln 명령어를 사용하면 된다.

03. 속도 개선

시스템 -> 기본 설정 -> 세션 -> 시작 프로그램 -> "트래커"와 "트래커 애플릿" 체크 해제
프로그램 -> 인터넷 -> Firefox 웹 브라우저 -> 편집 -> 환경설정 -> 보안 -> "현재 웹 사이트가 공격 페이지로 보일 경우 알려 주십시오" 체크 해제

04. wine 설치 및 문제 개선
  - add the repository's key to your system's list of trusted APT keys by copy

Yay! I actually figured the solution out on my own. Hopefully I'll get to the point where I can give back regularly to this community rather than take Maybe someone can actually make use of this.

Fix for losing control of VM:

1. Open VMware Workstation
2. Edit | User Preferences | Input Tab
3. Uncheck "Grab when cursor enters window", "Ungrab when cursor leaves window", and "hide cursos on ungrab".
4. Click Hot Keys Tab
5. Select "Ctrl+Alt"
6. Click close.

That's it! No more lockups or lost of the Host OS shortcuts. You do lose the ability to move out of the guest OS into the host OS without pressing Ctrl+Alt, but that key combination is fine with me.
이렇게 하면 vmware 윈도우 모드를 사용할 수 가 없게 된다. 즉 전체모드만 사용해야 됨

- 매뉴바가 안 나올때
  gnome-panel 패키지 재설치 또는 실행
- evolution 업그레이드후 실행되지 않을때
  evolution-data-server 프로세스를 죽이고 새로운 버전으로 구동
